MyCalling allows for the creation of accounts and profiles, information on your profile may be used to identify you personally by anyone using the site. Users expressly agree that the information they upload to MyCalling is not sensitive in nature and is true and accurate.
Information contained in your resume when you apply to a job or distribute your resume.
This will include any sensitive information that may be contained in your resume. You should exclude or remove any sensitive information from your resume, if you do not wish to disclose this type of information to MyCalling or have it processed by MyCalling.
Your Personal Data from social networking sites, such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, including your name, your social network username, birth date, email address, profile picture, and public data for contacts, if you connect your account to such social networks.
We may also collect other information that does not personally identify you. Such other information includes browser and device information, website and application usage data, IP addresses, demographic information such as marketing preferences, geographic location, primary language, and information collected through cookies and other technologies or information that has been anonymised or aggregated. If we link this information with your personal data, we will treat that linked information as personal data.
We collect sensitive personal data relating to your health, and ethnicity. Please note that the disclosure of sensitive or private information is voluntary unless specifically requested.

MyCalling collects and uses your personal data to operate its website(s) and deliver the services you have requested.
MyCalling may also share data with the hosting company, Employers and Jobseekers to help deliver career related services, perform statistical analysis, send you email or SMS. In addition, since MyCalling offers career services, MyCalling may share your personal data, which includes but is not limited to your resume and other personally identifiable information, with Employers or with an intermediate third-party.
MyCalling utilizes an AIMS (Automated Interview Marketing Solution) module. This module gathers additional information on the Jobseeker and Employers, such as Jobseeker’s with no work experience. This is to enable visibility and transparency to Employers on the MyCalling platform.
The AIMS (Automated Interview Marketing Solution) module is a process that consists of +-75 interview Questions completed by the Jobseeker and Employers and the responses are digitally captured onto the MyCalling Site. The results of the AIMS module are called a ‘Baseline’ and enables the Employers to order Jobseekers that best align with their BU specific baselines results.
Employers may choose to utilize the Baseline as part of their Candidate filtering process. Traditional recruitment filters will still be applied before/after or without baseline data. No candidates are therefore excluded, only ordered differently.
MyCalling may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within MyCalling, to determine what MyCalling services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content within MyCalling to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a subject area.
MyCalling may disclose your personal data, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on MyCalling or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of MyCalling; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of MyCalling, or the public.
By sharing your contact information with MyCalling, you agree to the MyCalling privacy policy and understand that you may be called or messaged by MyCalling about employment opportunities, job search assistance, career advancement and educational opportunities at the phone number you provided.

When you join social media, groups operated by MyCalling, we collect any personal or survey data that you give us and may share such information with our partners. You may be contacted by these partners via phone, email or sms, you may opt out of this service.
When you join social media, groups operated by MyCalling, we sometimes create an account for you at MyCalling.
You may update your profile data and resumes/CVs on our website, and can request to have your account deleted and all your data wiped out at any time.
As a member of MyCalling, we send you emails and sms daily/weekly: for job matches and job application notifications.
MyCalling may submit your application to jobs listed on our website when there is a match. As a member of the Site, you may opt out of this service.
MyCalling stores any resumes/CVs, and all the information contained therein, that you upload on our website.
MyCalling tracks which jobs you apply to on our website, and we use this information to better match you with other jobs or members that you may be interested in.
You may be called or messaged by MyCalling about employment opportunities and job search assistance at the phone number and email address you provide us. You may opt out of this service.
MyCalling uses the data you provide us to match you with Jobseekers and Employers for your job listings. We show your jobs on our website, and send them to our subscriber Employers and Jobseekers when there is a match. As a member of the Site, you may not opt out of this service.
MyCalling syndicates your job postings on our partner sites. As a member of the Site, you may not opt out of this service.
MyCalling stores all personal data of the Jobseekers we send you. This includes the candidate resumes/CVs, Bio Video and any information contained therein.
MyCalling tracks which Jobseekers you like for the jobs you list on our website, and we use this information to better match you with other Jobseekers that you may be interested in. As a member of the Site, you may not opt out of this service.
You may be called or messaged by MyCalling about Jobseekers matches at the phone number you provide us. You may opt out of this service.
We may share your personal data for the purposes set out in this Privacy Statement (as applicable):
Initially, MyCalling will act as the Responsible Party when handling the Jobseekers Personal Data, and will be responsible for the data processing on its platform. Jobseekers who search the platform provide MyCalling with “consent” as is required by the POPIA and other applicable Data Protection Laws, to allow the Employers to contact them for the specific job listing or to access their CV from the platform. When the Employer contacts the Candidate to help them apply for a job or download their CV from the platform, the Employer becomes the Responsible Party.
The Employer as the Responsible Party is then required to comply with obligations set out in POPIA and other applicable Data Protection Laws. The Employer must provide certain information to the Candidate and, if they would like to use Candidate’s Personal Data for any other purpose than filling a specific vacancy, the Employer must obtain their own consent from the Candidate, to continue to use the Jobseekers' Personal Data.
We are not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom you share personal data outside of the MyCalling Site, and we have no authority to manage or control third-party solicitations. If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.
Users who no longer wish to allow their CV to be searchable by our subscribers may opt out of this facility by going to the My account portion on the dashboard, and select ‘non-searchable’.
MyCalling is committed to protecting your personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure by using a combination of physical, administrative and technical safeguards and contractually requiring that third parties to whom we disclose your personal data do the same.
While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal data you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal data.
