    About the Position

    The Direct Sales Agent (United Kingdom Market) – will primarily be responsible for expanding our current United Kingdom client base. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional with proven experience in cold calling to join our dynamic sales team. As a key contributor to our sales efforts, you will be responsible for canvassing our database of non-sold enquiries, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role reports directly to the Head of Sales.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Call pre-existing leads from our CRM system and prepare those leads for the inbound sales team. Qualify leads using our sales process.
    • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our products/services. Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and challenges of prospective clients.
    • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Collaborate with the inbound sales team to ensure seamless transition and delivery of products/services.
    • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records using CRM tools. Manage various company platforms such as Calendly and respond to client enquiries promptly. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance.
    • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Provide insights and recommendations to the team to adapt and refine sales strategies.

    Qualifications & Work Experience

    • Preferably a tertiary qualification in a business-related field.
    • Impeccable command of the English language – both written and verbal.
    • In-depth knowledge of the payment solutions sector, especially in the United Kingdom, is preferred.
    • 3 to 4 years of successful track record in cold calling and business development.
    • 3 to 4 years of telephonic sales experience conducting a minimum of 50 daily outbound calls.
    • Computer proficiency (MS Office or Google Docs).
    • Excellent customer relations experience, persuasive and motivated.
    • Embrace challenges with a positive attitude and unwavering determination.
    • Thrive under pressure, managing stress with composure.

    Working Days/Hours

    • Monday to Friday
    • 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (UK Time)

    What we require:

    • Grade 11 or NQF Level 3.
    • Criminal and credit clear.
    • South African citizen
    • Strong command of the English language.
    • English written and verbal fluency, suitable for an international client.
    • Willing to work evening shifts/weekends.
    • Exceptional customer service experience.
    • At least 6 months sales experience.
    • 12 Months Customer Service experience. 
    • Previous international call centre experience for at least 6-12 months highly advantageous.
