    About the Position

    The Direct Sales Agent (United Kingdom Market) will primarily be responsible for expanding our current United Kingdom client base. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional with proven experience in cold calling to join our dynamic sales team. As a key contributor to our sales efforts, you will be responsible for canvassing our database of non-sold enquiries, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role reports directly to the Head of Sales.

    Fluency in Portuguese is a mandatory requirement, as the role involves engaging with Portuguese-speaking clients and markets.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Call pre-existing leads from our CRM system and prepare those leads for the inbound sales team. Qualify leads using our sales process.
    • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our products/services. Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and challenges of prospective clients.
    • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Collaborate with the inbound sales team to ensure seamless transition and delivery of products/services.
    • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records using CRM tools. Manage various company platforms such as Calendly and respond to client enquiries promptly. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance.
    • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Provide insights and recommendations to the team to adapt and refine sales strategies.

    Qualifications & Work Experience

    • Preferably a tertiary qualification in a business-related field.
    • Impeccable command of the English language – both written and verbal.
    • Fluency in Portuguese – both written and verbal – is required.
    • In-depth knowledge of the payment solutions sector, especially in the United Kingdom, is preferred.
    • 1 to 2 years of successful track record in cold calling and business development.
    • 1 to 2 years of telephonic Portuguese sales experience conducting a minimum of 50 daily outbound calls.
    • Computer proficiency (MS Office or Google Docs).
    • Excellent customer relations experience, persuasive and motivated.

    • Thrive under pressure, managing stress with composure.

    Working Days/Hours

    • Monday to Friday
    • 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (UK Time)

    To provide excellent customer services within the automotive banking industry, by recovering and maintaining accurate records, provide exceptional services and resolve discrepancies in accounts.

    Knowledge & Education:

    • Essential: Matric/NQF Level 4.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 12 months Customer Service experience. (Ideally from banking or early stage collections environments)
    • Contact Centre experience (preferable)
    • Collections experience (preferable)
    • Soft Sales experience (preferable)

    Skills:

    • 9.5-hour shifts (of which 8.5 hours paid) anywhere between 11am and 9am.
    • 5 days on 2 days off (not consecutive).
